Newspapers in Nj are confirming the U.S. Coast Guard medevaced a passenger from the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) ship on The month of january 15th, roughly 75 miles east of Atlantic City.
The NCL ship physician around the Norwegian Breakaway approached the Coast Guard shortly before 8 P.M. to are convinced that a 67 years old lady was looking for immediate medical attention. A Coast Guard helicopter from Atlantic City showed up in the Norwegian Breakaway around 9:30 P.M., hoisted the lady aboard, and moved her to in Atlantic City for more medical attention.
The helicopter crew mentioned their first concern was maintaining your passenger warm due to freezing temps.
The passenger was looking for emergency health care. She was aboard the Norwegian Breakaway, about 50 miles east of Cape Hatteras once the NCL asked for assistance.
A Coast Guard helicopter along with a Hercules plane travelled from Elizabeth City, New York, to assistance with the save. The helicopter required the sick passenger to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
