Concerning the programme area - Capacity-Building and Institutional Cooperation with Norwegian Public Institutions

This programme area will facilitate the exchange of expertise and learning between partners in Norwegian and also the beneficiary states. It offers the framework for administrations and public government bodies within the beneficiary states to cooperate using their alternatives in Norwegian, using the goal of developing modern and efficient administrations.

Concerning the programmes

Bulgaria: the programme includes two pre-defined projects. Within the project “Strengthening the capability from the National Association of Cities within the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB) and Bulgarian Cities through cooperation with Norwegian Local Authorities” you will see cooperation within activities for example Experience and finest practice for institutional dialogue with central government bodies Inter-municipal cooperation and fostering inter-municipal cooperation for public service provision.

Latvia: the programme includes pre-defined projects that are designed for improving capacity and excellence of the help supplied by public institutions, local and regional government bodies through enhanced institutional capacity and human assets development.

Lithuania: there's an emphasis on improving capacity and excellence of services supplied by cities, in addition to supporting pilot projects for local climate and programmes.

Hungary: the programme is concentrating on institutional capacity building and hr rise in public institutions, local and regional government bodies in Hungary through cooperation and change in understanding and knowledge about similar institutions and government bodies in Norwegian. The programme includes four pre-defined projects and something open demand projects focusing on enhanced capabilities of local government authorities. Hungarian local government authorities with Norwegian partners may apply.
